As a summer intern within BOQ Group you will be exposed to different technologies, processes, and functionalities. You will see firsthand, the intricate workings of how the banking world operates within Australia, across a multitude of divisions that operate within a bankโ€™s head office. Group Operations, Business Bank, Retail Bank, Group Finance and Group Risk โ€“ we have it all โ€“ and we have dedicated leaders keen to pass on their knowledge, so if this sounds like what you want to get amongst for 12 weeks over summer, then youโ€™re in the right place!ย

About you

You are a highly enthusiastic penultimate year (second last year) university technology student with demonstrated critical analysis and problem-solving skills along with the ability to effectively present and communicate information both verbally and in writing. You are driven and passionate about Digital Technology and improving experience of end users, which for us means a better banking journey for our customers. You will take a collaborative approach to achieving outcomes for the stakeholders and customers you support.ย 

As a values-based decision maker, you will be passionate about doing whatโ€™s right for the customer and the BOQ Group. Ultimately, we are looking for good humans who encourage diverse thinking and who will support the organisation to continue adapting and transforming to deliver our purpose and values. You will need permanent working rights in Australia or New Zealand to apply for the program.

The Program commences on Monday 20th November 2023 and runs for 12 weeks; you will be required to be available over this timeframe.
